• NOC Job Code/Title: 44101 - Family Caregiver

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is March 1, 2025.

Positions: Two positions are available for this job

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.

Location: FiAz… are both located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, but live separately from one another. One individual lives in a condominium in the Côte Saint-Luc area, with the nearest major intersection being Côte Saint-Luc Road and Decarie blvd. The other lives in an eldercare facility where the nearest major intersection is Victoria ave and Ave Van Horne. These positions will require transit between these two locations. The city bus and metro is easily accessible and close by for both locations.

Duties may include:

1- This job is to care for two elderly individuals with multiple age-related heath issues

2- Supervision is required

3- Help with daily routine including personal hygiene, dressing and medications

4- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required

5- General housework that will include doing laundry, and dusting

Qualifications:

1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education

2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver

3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
