Job summary

A local staffing service is seeking a full-time in-home caregiver in Laval, Quebec. The caregiver will look after two children: a 2-year-old and a 10-month-old, and will perform various duties including meal preparation, supervision, and general housework. Candidates must have completed secondary education and have at least one year of relevant experience. Flexible working hours and weekend availability are required.

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is December 13, 2025.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $34.62 per hour.

Location: AlDi… lives in the town of Laval, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus and the metro are easily accessible and is close by (bus #70). The major intersection is Boul. Ste Elzéar and Desserte est des Laurentides.

Duties may include:

1- This job is to help with the care of two children ages 2 years old and 10 months old.

2- Supervision of child when parents are not at home

3- Prepare food and change diapers

4- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise

5- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean-up is also required

6- General housework that will include doing laundry.

7- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications:

1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education

2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver

3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
