Job summary

Shiraz Begum Shamji is seeking a full-time in-home caregiver to support elderly individuals in Dorval, Quebec. Flexible/split shifts and possible weekend work are required, with immediate start. English language is used, and wage is hourly.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping while ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Bus access and public transport make the location convenient.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of work-related caregiver experience or equivalent training.
• Experience with seniors/elderly is an asset.
• Driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily support to elderly individuals.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment; be patient, respectful and attentive to needs.
• Accompany clients to Doctor’s appointments.
• Check blood pressure twice a week.
• Perform light household duties.

This is for a full time position (Between 30 to 40 hours per week ).Flexible/ Split shift work schedule is required and Week end work may be required.English . Job start as soon as possible

Wage offered is between 19 to 23 per hour.

Duties may include:

• Compassionate and Dependable caregiver with experience providing personal care and daily support to a couple elderly
• Meal preparation
• medications reminders
• Must be efficient, companionship and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.Patient, respectful and attentive to each person’s needs with strong commitment a quality of work.
• Accompanying Doctor’s Appointment
• Check every twice a week for the blood pressure.
• and light household duties
