Job summary

A community support services provider in Quinte West is seeking a Home Helper to provide homemaking assistance to individuals and families. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship. Ideal candidates will have experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This casual role requires a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience working with seniors and persons with disabilities.
• Experience with professional cleaning services is preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform light housekeeping tasks for clients.
• Prepare meals and provide companionship.
• Notify supervisor of changes in clients' needs.
