Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer for our Pickering, ON office. You will work on structural designs for various projects, coordinating with discipline leads, managers, vendors and clients to meet timelines.

Strong computer skills and knowledge of STAAD Pro are essential. The role requires a university degree in structural engineering, P.Eng eligibility, and experience with power/utility projects; exposure to nuclear plant structures is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• PEO registration or eligibility as a P.Eng.
• Experience with utility or power industry advantageous.
• Exposure to nuclear plant structures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design of large or small projects with multitasking ability.
• Maintain project timelines and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Document and track design documents; liaise with discipline leads, PMs, vendors and clients.
• Assist in procurement, review bids and supplier submissions; perform site/field inspections as needed.
