WELL Health Clinic Network Inc. in Ottawa is seeking a compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Primary Care team.

This full-time, contract role blends clinical and administrative duties to support a smooth patient experience and clinic operations. You will administer vaccines and injections, perform wound care, assist with minor procedures, manage EMR documentation (Accuro/OSCAR), triage calls, and help with scheduling and recalls.

Qualifications

• Current registration and good standing with the provincial college of nurses.
• Previous experience in a primary care or family practice environment preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Accuro, OSCAR, or equivalent.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations for children and adults with proper EMR documentation.
• Provide injections, including medications and immunotherapy treatments.
• Perform wound care and assist in minor procedures.
• Assist physicians during Pap tests and other minor procedures.
• Operate and maintain autoclave equipment for instrument sterilization.
• Conduct blood pressure follow-ups and educate patients following guidelines.
• Record and document patient information in the EMR.
