Qualifications

• Minimum of 600 hours English Language teaching experience.
• Minimum of 1 year adult teaching experience.
• Knowledge of community resources for newcomers to Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develops daily lesson plans based on practical English.
• Teaches classes in accordance with IRCC Language Training Outcomes.
• Engages students to facilitate dialogue and learning.

Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent technical skills in MS Office

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Additional languages

Education

Bachelors Degree in Education

TESL Canada and/or TESOL certificate
