Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking an Associate in Sustainability within the Risk Services practice. You will join a diverse team, building trust in reporting while gaining hands-on experience with AI and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education and working to obtain or have obtained all Canadian CPA prerequisite courses.
• An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, openness to learning new tools.
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas.
• Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships rooted in trust.
• Ability to adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills.

• Comfortable traveling to cities across Canada when safe.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and analyze ESG data to support sustainability reporting.
• Develop and execute assurance procedures for ESG attestations.
• Evaluate processes and controls to support external reporting.
• Perform GAAP analysis related to ESG impacts.
• Apply analytical skills and ESG knowledge to client work.
• Assist in preparing disclosures aligned with ESG reporting standards.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary projects and manage multiple workstreams.
• Support clients in improving sustainability reporting and trust.
• Assist clients with greenhouse gas reporting, quantification, and assurance.
• Participate in client meetings and deliverables, and contribute to thought leadership.
• Assist in budgets, proposals, and marketing of services to clients.
