Job summary

The Printing House in Nepean, ON is seeking a Digital Printing Imaging Specialist to prepare customer print files and manage pre-press through finishing. You will ensure production schedules are met and print quality aligns with specifications.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with digital printers and DFEs, CMYK and Pantone matching, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and pre-flight processes. This role offers a full-time schedule, weekdays, on-site work.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital printers and DFEs such as Fiery, Xerox, Konica Minolta.
• Proficiency in CMYK colour space and Pantone colour matching.
• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite and pre-flight process for digital printing files.
• Knowledge of substrates and various paper stocks is an asset.

We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Imaging Specialist who will be responsible for preparing customer supplied print files for press and printing orders following specifications set out in the work-order.

The Imaging Specialist operates and maintains advanced digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed products according to customer specifications and production schedules. They prepare print files, manage workflows from pre-press through finishing, monitor print quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure all projects meet established production and quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Compensation range: $21-$24 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm

Expected hours: 40 per week.
