THE POSITION

To provide and maintain a safe and supportive environment in an 18-unit apartment setting that houses women who are released from a correctional institution. The Support Worker is responsible for the general well-being of the relatives residing and/or accessing services at the STC īkwēskīcik iskwēwak transitional apartment. The position will provide onsite wrap‑around support to women involved in the criminal justice system and may also be engaged in other high‑risk behaviours. The Support Worker will be under direct supervision and report directly to the īkwēskīcik iskwēwak Program Coordinator or their designate. The Support Worker will follow the Saskatoon Tribal Council Personnel and Financial Policies and guidelines for the STC īkwēskīcik iskwēwak Transition Apartment.
