Job Description
  • Perform site surveys, verify existing infrastructure, and identify potential challenges for new construction.
  • Develop detailed drawings and specifications for Aviation OSP construction projects using BIM/CAD software. This involves selecting appropriate materials, routing cables, and designing pathways for the network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with other engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the OSP network with other Aviation projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 15+ years experience in major infrastructure and transportation projects.
  • A strong understanding of telecommunications principles, including fiber optic and copper cable systems, conduit systems, and relevant construction methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • BICSI certifications (like Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Outside Plant Designer (OSP)).
  • Airfield OSP design experience.
  • BISCI OSP Certification.
