Leadingtalent is seeking a Payments Platform Intern based in Toronto for an 8-month internship starting in January 2026. The role involves designing and prototyping payment microservices using AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as applying AI/GenAI models for improvements.

Motivated Payments Platform Intern with hands‑on experience in cloud technologies, AI/GenAI applications, and payment system simulations. Skilled in applying DevSecOps, cloud‑native practices, and GenAI‑powered anomaly detection to strengthen financial platforms. Familiar with leading AI platforms such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, and Vertex AI, and eager to contribute to enterprise‑scale payment systems while enhancing expertise in building secure, resilient, and compliant architectures.
This position is open to applicants who reside in Toronto and is open to applicants seeking an 8‑month internship work term, commencing in Jan 2026. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full‑time studies at a post‑secondary institution and returning to full‑time studies upon completion of their work term.

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions.
