Job summary

TBT Engineering is seeking a senior hydrogeologist to lead and contribute to hydrogeology and environmental projects, guiding junior staff and ensuring regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related field; P.Geo. or P.Eng. registration preferred.
• 10+ years of groundwater assessment, monitoring and management experience.
• Proficient with hydrogeological and environmental software; strong analytics, communication and project management skills.

Position Description

Lead and contribute to a variety of hydrogeological and environmental projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across diverse engineering divisions in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. Apply advanced technical expertise in groundwater assessment, monitoring, and management, as well as contaminant hydrogeology, site characterization, and remediation support. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight while guiding junior staff and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in hydrogeology, supported by a degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, with registration as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) . The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience in groundwater assessment, monitoring, and management, including experience with site characterization, hydrogeology, and regulatory compliance. Candidates should be proficient with hydrogeological and environmental software and possess strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Proven experience leading projects, mentoring technical staff, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams is essential.

This position is classified as full time. Rate of pay will be commensurate with related experience and qualifications ($108,160.00 per year +).
