Job summary
A global engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and installation of heavy mechanical equipment for hydroelectric power plants in Canada. With a focus on both new developments and refurbishments, you will work within multidisciplinary teams and ensure project compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience, offering a hybrid work model.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience designing heavy mechanical equipment for hydroelectric facilities.
- Member in good standing of a Provincial Order of Engineers or eligible for immediate registration.
- Excellent written and oral English.
Responsibilities
- Prepare deliverables such as calculations, studies, and drawings.
- Conduct field surveys and review shop drawings.
- Ensure compliance with company’s health & safety policies.
