Responsibilities
  • Assist crews in British Columbia as an experienced Hydraulic Driller, including drilling production and shear-line and occasionally helping the blast crew.
  • Be able to lay out drill patterns and work with hydraulic drills (e.g., Tamrock 800, Ranger 700, Traxxon / Montabert hoe mounted drills).
  • Drilling experience around houses and urban settings is considered an asset.

  • Drilling experience around houses and urban settings is considered an asset.
  • Operational experience with hydraulic drills; including Tamrock 800, Ranger 700, and Traxxon / Montabert hoe mounted drills.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Natural ability to solve problems and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Flexible and willing to work night shifts if required.
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
  • Experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
  • Be able to work independently.
