Job summary

Chemtrade is seeking a Security Analyst – Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations in Toronto, a hybrid role reporting to the Cybersecurity Director. The position focuses on implementing and monitoring cybersecurity solutions across IT and operational technology, ensuring secure production environments while collaborating with IT, plant operations, and engineering teams.

The successful candidate will have 3–6 years in cybersecurity operations, experience with SIEM/EDR, and knowledge of OT/ICS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or industrial network security.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial control environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations & Monitoring across IT and OT environments.
• Triage, investigation, and escalation of security events.
• Containment, eradication, and recovery during incidents.
• Maintain documentation of incidents, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Security engineering: deploy and maintain firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners.
