Insight Global is seeking a SAS/Python Developer for a 12-month contract in Toronto. This hybrid role requires on-site presence twice a week in downtown Toronto, with no remote option. You will migrate SAS Enterprise Guide code to Python (pandas) in a cloud environment, focusing on performance and maintainability.

The work is hands-on, engineering‑quality coding rather than modeling. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of SAS and Python experience, strong SQL and data transformation skills, and

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of SAS and/or Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience converting SAS code into Python in Anaconda environments.
• Experience with SAS data steps, macros, and SAS SQL.
• Strong Python development experience with dataframes and manipulation libraries.

Responsabilidades

• Convert SAS Enterprise Guide programs to Python (Anaconda-based) equivalents.
• Translate SAS data steps, macros, and SAS SQL to Python/pandas.
• Refactor and optimize code for performance.
• Produce clear technical documentation and status updates.
