Job summary

Altis is seeking a Salesforce Developer in Toronto, Ontario, to join our CRM Product team in a hybrid role. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications, components, and integrations to empower teams across the organization.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Salesforce development experience (NPSP preferred), Platform Developer I, and proficiency in Apex, Flows, and Lightning Web Components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II is a strong asset.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Flows, and Lightning Web Components.
• Solid OO programming knowledge including Java, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing APIs and integrating Salesforce with third-party systems.
• Familiarity with Git and DevOps or CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with an interest in AI and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications, custom components, and integrations.
• Translate complex business requirements into user-focused solutions using Apex, Flows, and Lightning Web Components.
• Take ownership of key technical components and lead initiatives within your area of expertise.
• Collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure solutions align with strategic goals.
• Apply modern development practices, including iterative delivery, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD.
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI and data technologies to improve business outcomes.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous improvement across the development team.
