Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking a skilled Project Accounting Analyst in the Niagara Region, ON to manage financial aspects of manufacturing projects. The role involves developing budgets, tracking costs, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Accounting or related field, relevant experience in project accounting, and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. This position offers a full-time contract with on-site/hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Minimum years of experience in project or manufacturing accounting, with at least years in managerial or leadership role.
• Proven background in cost accounting (materials, labour, overhead).
• Experience with construction accounting and manufacturing project environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Track and analyze material, labour, and overhead costs to ensure accurate project costing.
• Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and milestones from initiation to completion.
