Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical building engineering or an equivalent.
• Hold a P. Eng certification from Engineers Nova Scotia.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical building system design.
• Fluency in oral and written English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposal submissions including pricing and agreements.
• Participate in the design of building mechanical systems.
• Perform energy audits and building assessments.
• Follow up on each step of a project.
• Assist the client during the tender process.
• Project planning including design and construction schedules.
• Prepare technical reports and construction cost estimates.
• Provide technical support to clients.
