Qualifications

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient with Excel.
• Experience with various aspects of accounting.
• Ability to handle accounting tasks for multiple entities.
• Functional communication skills in both English and French.
• High attention to detail, especially for reconciliations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Enter and manage accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain and update financial accounts and records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and monthly / annual closings.
• Assist with the preparation of tax and government filings.
• Help prepare documentation for audits and respond to requests from auditors.
• Contribute to maintaining compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
