A leading utility company in Toronto is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide day-to-day HR support. The role involves collaborating with business units on talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations, with an emphasis on unionized environments. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Human Resources or a related field. This hybrid position requires onsite attendance Tuesday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, focusing on unionized environments.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret collective agreements and support grievances.
• Strong business acumen, relationship-building skills, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal clients to deliver HR services effectively.
• Act as the main point of contact for HR issues across the employee lifecycle.
• Provide coaching to leaders on employee relations and grievances.
