IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently recruiting a HYBRID ACCOUNTING & FINANCE MANAGER for a leader in the Commercial Real Estate Finance Industry located in downtown Toronto, ON.

Our client is a well‑established organization in the commercial real estate finance sector, known for its professionalism and long‑standing presence in the Canadian market. The company offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare financial statements and investor reports for senior management on a timely basis (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  • Manage accounting staff including setting team goals, providing guidance and delegating tasks.
  • Responsible for daily fund cash management, including preparation of daily cashflow projections and analysis.
  • Responsible for managing the fund debt facilities, including extensions as required, draws, repayments, and reporting (monthly, quarterly and annually).
  • Responsible for managing annual financial audits on multiple entities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ relevant experience in industry.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (Sage preferred).
  • Superior written and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under time pressure.
  • Experience in commercial real estate accounting and/or finance an asset.
