Job summary

A legal consultancy firm is seeking a Litigation Law Clerk for their Toronto office. This full-time, hybrid role will support two lawyers in a high-volume estate litigation practice. Responsibilities include managing case files, preparing legal documentation, and conducting legal research. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of litigation experience and proficiency in MS Office. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in litigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Managing case files and ensuring all court filing deadlines are met.
  • Preparing and organizing legal documentation including affidavits and briefs.
  • Conducting legal research and due diligence to support case preparation.
