Job summary

BrokerLink in Canada is seeking an Account Manager, Commercial Insurance to join our growing team. You will provide prompt service, assist with quotes, write new business, and manage client files with insurers. You will negotiate with underwriters and handle renewals, endorsements, and payments while maintaining strong customer relations and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School and/or post-secondary education is required.
• Valid provincial insurance license or willingness to obtain one is required.
• Industry accreditation such as CAIB or CIP is an asset.
• Strong customer focus and administrative skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork and collaborative mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with prompt service and insurance advice.
• Receive and process all incoming commercial paperwork.
• Assist with quotes, write new business, and review coverage.
• Prepare documentation for insurers and complete applications.
• Process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments.
• Communicate with insurers, negotiate with underwriters, and renew terms.
• Source additional information requested by underwriters and complete applications.
