Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a Civil Engineering Assistant to support planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of complex capital projects. You will coordinate project controls, manage large datasets, develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel, and assist cost, schedule, and progress tracking.

The role requires a Civil Engineering bachelor’s degree and 3–7 years of experience in project controls, cost and schedule management, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–7 years experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, or capital projects.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills; data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support project controls by tracking scope, schedule, cost and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain project reports, forecasts, and earned value analyses.
• Manage large datasets from multiple sources and create dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• Perform trend analysis and provide actionable insights for decisions.
• Coordinate documentation, reporting cycles, risk tracking and stakeholder communication.
• Drive process improvements in reporting, data governance and controls.
