Job summary

Bardel in Vancouver is seeking a skilled 2D Animator to bring traditional animation to life for our projects. You will collaborate with leads, supervisors, and directors to deliver polished characters and props, applying strong drawing, timing, and acting.

We require 2+ years of production experience with Toon Boom Harmony 21–25 and a showreel or portfolio showcasing your craft. You will participate in dailies and rounds, staying on schedule in a collaborative hybrid studio setting.

Qualifications

• 2D animation experience in production for TV or features.
• 2+ years using Toon Boom Harmony 21–25 with strong drawing tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to incorporate feedback.

Responsibilities

• Animate 2D characters and props in traditional style aligned with vision and standards.
• Revise animation based on director/lead feedback for consistency.
• Manage time and coordinate with production to stay on schedule.
• Keep leads and team informed about progress and challenges.
• Participate in dailies and rounds, contributing ideas and improvements.
• Adhere to pipeline workflows for seamless integration.
