You will work on heating and cooling systems, perform diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and installations, and ensure installations meet manufacturer specs and codes. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a valid Ontario driver's license, and the ability to work independently in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• G2 Gas Technician certification is required.
• 313D Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic is preferred.
• Experience in residential HVAC service and installations.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Comfortable working independently in customers' homes.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential HVAC service, diagnostics, repairs, installations, and maintenance
• Install and commission heat pump-based heating and cooling equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC system issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Diagnose equipment performance issues and recommend solutions

About the Role

1Click Energy Solutions is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Ottawa. This position is ideal for a hands‑on technician who is comfortable working in residential environments and has experience with service, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

You will work on a variety of HVAC equipment, with a strong focus on residential heating and cooling systems and heat pumps.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential HVAC service, diagnostics, repairs, installations, and maintenance
• Install and commission heat pump‑based heating and cooling equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC system issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Diagnose equipment performance issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Complete installations according to manufacturer specifications and applicable codes
