Job summary

Edon Management is seeking a Journeyman HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our Alberta team on a permanent full-time basis. The role focuses on servicing a large, technically complex site, performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of related experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting HVAC systems, including controls, refrigeration circuits, and electrical components.
• Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex system faults.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Govt of Canada security clearance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be available for on call rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
• Respond to service calls and urgent maintenance requests.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and applicable codes.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with operations team and subcontractors as required.
