Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues in HVAC equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC units to ensure efficiency and reliability.

• Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and ventilation systems as needed.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding system issues, maintenance, and repair options.

• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and inventory of parts and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC preferred.

• Red Seal Certification or equivalent HVAC certification is an asset.

• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and electrical controls.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

• Work may involve lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions.
