Job summary

Mafna Air Technologies Inc. in Cambridge, Ontario is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to install, assemble and service industrial and commercial air handling and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, holds an HVAC certification/313A license, and can read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC or refrigeration system installation and service.
• HVAC Certification or Trade License (313A) is required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and mechanical layouts in HVAC applications.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and service HVAC and refrigeration systems used in industrial and commercial air handling units.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Conduct system diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and resolve issues.
• Handle refrigerants in compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams during system integration and testing.
• Maintain detailed service and repair records.
• Follow all safety and quality standards.

• Install, assemble, and service HVAC and refrigeration systems used in industrial and commercial air handling units.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Handle refrigerants in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams during system integration and testing.

Skills/Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC or refrigeration system installation and service.

• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and mechanical layouts in HVAC applications.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
• Willingness to relocate closer to the workplace and start on short notice.
