Job summary

A heating and cooling service company is looking for an HVAC mechanic to install and maintain air conditioning and ventilation systems. The ideal candidate will have relevant trade certifications and experience in troubleshooting and customer service. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring on-site work, with a salary between $50.00 to $55.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
Tasks
  • Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems
  • Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
  • Troubleshoot heating systems
  • Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Provide customer service
  • Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system
  • Handle, recover and store refrigerants
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems

  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate
