Plan Group is looking for an experienced HVAC Foreman to work on-site in Ottawa, ON.

You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems on commercial and institutional projects. This role is hands‑on and fast‑paced, requiring someone who takes pride in quality work and values working safely alongside a team.

As an HVAC Foreman, you will:
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems according to mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, completing repairs efficiently
  • Oversee daily HVAC work on-site and provide guidance to junior team members
  • Work closely with other trades and project teams to coordinate tasks and meet deadlines
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with codes and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and complete documentation using tools such as SharePoint
  • Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and vendors
Qualifications:
  • Strong supervisory skills with experience in team oversight
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
  • Valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license
  • Valid Gas Technician 1 (G1) license
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience working on active construction sites, preferably in commercial or institutional settings
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and SharePoint for documentation
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
