Job summary

A leading workforce solutions provider in Vancouver is seeking an HR Generalist to implement customized HR programs and deliver full-cycle HR services. You will work under the mentorship of senior practitioners to assist clients and support the internal People & Culture department. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of HR experience and strong project coordination skills. Overview

HR Generalist

Are you a driven, business-minded HR professional who’s passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences? If so, we want to hear from you!

As an HR Generalist, you’ll implement customized HR programs that help clients achieve their business objectives. Under the mentorship of senior practitioners, you’ll deliver workplace strategies that shape culture through talent management, employee development, compensation alignment, performance management, compliance, and more.

In addition to supporting clients, you’ll provide full-cycle HR services within TPD’s own People & Culture department, working with both full-time employees and temporary staff. This role reports directly to the People & Culture Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Work under the guidance and mentorship of a senior HR practitioner.
  • Support both day-to-day internal HR needs and those of our clients.
  • Process payroll for one or more clients.
  • Deliver employee training and development, including through our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Assist with content development, presentations, and meetings.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and HR program implementation.
  • Contribute to HRIS implementations and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and strengthen TPD’s HR Solutions brand.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of HR experience.
  • Degree or diploma in Business or Human Resources.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR is an asset).
  • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions.
  • Excellent administration and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Payroll administration experience (preferred).
  • Recruitment experience (an asset).
  • French language fluency (an asset)
