Cahill is currently recruiting Human Resources Coordinators. The ideal candidate is a dynamic HR professional who brings both expertise and enthusiasm to every aspect of their work. With a strong grasp of recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and legislative compliance, they approach each challenge with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Position Details
  • We’re hiring two HR Coordinators :
  • 1 Full-Time, Permanent Role
  • 1 Parental Leave Replacement (18–20 months)
  • Hybrid Position
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

The full‑time role includes HR functional support across the Cahill Group and the Residence at Littledale, seniors’ living facility, tailoring their approach to effectively meet the unique needs and dynamics of each environment.

What will you do?
  • Be responsible for full cycle recruitment for various lines of business, ensuring we have a strong talent pipeline including job postings, prescreening, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Support the onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Play a key role in employee engagement by promoting company programs that enhance the employee experience.
  • Advise and make recommendations to managers on best HR practices, and all other relevant legislations.
  • Facilitate fair and equitable compensation practices across all lines of business through the consistent application of established pay bands and job evaluation systems.
  • Facilitate approvals for hiring new employees and making changes to existing employees’ employment contracts.
  • Manage the student recruitment efforts for the Cahill Group.
  • Proactively address and resolve employee concerns across all lines of business, fostering positive employee relations, promoting open communication, and ensuring issues are handled with fairness and discretion.
  • Deliver training and/or presentations as required (eg. Respectful Workplace, HRMS module training, Employee Program launches, etc.).
  • Support employees, QHSE department, and claims/benefits providers to ensure Early and Safe Return to Work Plans offer meaningful work and comply with corporate and legislative requirements.
  • Provide support in managing labour relations matters, including handling workplace issues, grievances, and other concerns as they arise, while ensuring fair and consistent application of collective agreements.
  • Conduct exit interviews and report trends to management.
  • Act as a champion for HR Management System (HRWize), including implementation and training.
What will you bring?
  • 4 years’ previous HR Generalist experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma, or equivalent combination of recent and relevant experience and education.
  • Experience providing HR support within a construction or healthcare / long‑term care environment is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional networking, relationship building and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • A positive solution-oriented approach.
