Job Description
  • Provides HR support to managers on first-level employee relations issues;
  • Manages the onboarding and integration process for new employees;
  • Responsible for documenting all workforce movements (transfers, promotions, hires, etc.);
  • Assists the HR Business Partner in deploying various processes such as end-of-probation reviews, performance management, salary reviews, and exit interview processes;
  • Participates in investigation processes in cases of complaints, harassment, or other sensitive situations and supports the implementation and follow‑up of action plans;
  • Supports the HR Business Partner in coaching supervisors;
  • Participates in the analysis of key performance indicators and conducts targeted analyses;
  • Takes part in special projects within the HR Business Partner team;
  • On occasion, provides support during peak recruitment periods (job postings, resume screening, phone and in‑person interviews, job offers, and drafting employment contracts);
  • Assists with the documentation of files related to workplace injuries;
  • Collaborates on the employee recognition program (service anniversaries, team events, etc.);
  • Assists in managing files for foreign workers (work permits, housing, and other issues requiring support; communicates with landlords in case of issues and manages reimbursement agreements, etc.);
  • Participates in organizing various special events in collaboration with the corporate team;
  • Supports the benefits team (front‑line support) by responding to employee questions regarding their benefits;
  • Performs any other HR-related tasks to support teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources;
  • Has 1+ years of relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Demonstrates leadership, strong analytical skills, and objectivity and discretion in carrying out responsibilities;
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills, with diplomacy and patience in professional relationships;
  • Highly organized;
  • Able to work effectively under pressure;
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
