The Senior HR Business Partner will act as a strategic and operational partner to the business, supporting all HR functions in a hands‑on and generalist manner. In addition to ensuring the execution of HR processes and policies, the Senior HRBP will play a leading role in the implementation of projects, development initiatives, engagement actions, and compliance with local regulations, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies.

Reports to: District HR Manager – South America
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Full‑cycle recruitment for internal and external hires.
- Partner with managers to define profiles and negotiate offer packages.
- Ensure a positive onboarding experience, aligned with global standards.
- Support market mapping and employer branding initiatives.
2. Learning & Development
- Implement and monitor local and global training programs.
- Support leadership and employee development programs.
- Coordinate knowledge‑sharing events and cultural initiatives.
- Monitor and follow up on individual development plans.
3. Performance & Talent Management
- Support the global performance cycle and talent programs.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on career development and feedback.
- Conduct engagement surveys and exit interviews.
4. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Support administration of local benefits.
- Liaise with external payroll providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to labor legislation (vacations, terminations, timekeeping, leaves, etc.).
- Conduct market benchmarking analyses.
- Monitor HR budgets and actual monthly expenses.
5. Employee Relations
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR matters.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and ethical standards.
- Provide support on sensitive cases in partnership with legal advisors.
- Conduct exit interviews and follow‑up on critical cases.
6. Culture & Events
- Design, develop, and lead HR events and initiatives: year‑end parties, commemorative dates, ESG actions, and team‑building activities.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives and strengthen organizational culture.
- Organize internal knowledge‑sharing events and cultural activities (e.g., talks, workshops).
- Foster a positive work environment aligned with ZIM’s values.
7. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Liaise with occupational health providers to ensure compliance with NR1 and other legal requirements.
- Oversee occupational health and safety programs: pre‑employment, periodic and termination exams, PCMSO and PGR.
- Support internal and external audits (including SOX).
- Ensure compliance with local labor and occupational health standards as well as global HR policies.
8. HR Operations & Analytics
- Manage and update HR data in systems (HCM Oracle, ADP or others).
- Extract and analyze HR metrics (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, etc.).
- Prepare HR reports and presentations for regional and global leadership.
- Propose continuous improvements in processes and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, HR Management or related fields.
- Experience in multinational companies, nice to have.
- Ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
- Proven experience in project management and HR initiatives implementation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred.
- Advanced English; Spanish desirable.
