General Overview

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits support, compliance with labour laws, and training and development. You will report directly to the Paxiom Group Global HR Director, and dotted line to the site Director of Operations to enhance employee engagement and ensure that all HR activities align with organisational goals. We are seeking individuals that are ambitious, curious, client‑oriented and enjoy a fast‑paced environment.

About the position
  • Lead in updating, developing and implementing company policies and procedures
  • Ability to handle OQLF responsibilities and run the committee
  • Participate in full life‑cycle recruitment beginning with posting open roles, vetting CVs and use creative solutions to find top talent for WeighPack roles (i.e. background/reference checks, onboarding materials and DAY 1 needs)
  • Develop wellness and engagement initiatives; obtain feedback from employees on effectiveness
  • Resolve employee relations issues and address grievances; escalates where appropriate to the Global HR Director for Paxiom Group
  • Address all HR‑related questions pertaining to local policies, benefits, vacation (and other needs).
  • Lead HSE team to implement and monitor health and safety policies and practices.
  • Track and report workplace injuries and safety incidents; update CNESST files whenever necessary
  • Support with training and certifications tracking (e.g. first aid certified, HSE trainings completions)
  • Following up on training with leaders to ensure proper execution.
Qualifications
  • 5‑7 years of relevant experience in HR
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
