Reporting to the Director of People Services, Western Zone, the Human Resources Assistant (HR Assistant) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the program and confidential administrative support to People Services team. The HR Assistant provides additional support to individuals, committees and working groups as assigned. Facilitates and coordinates the administrative operations in support of the goals and objectives of the department(s). The HR Assistant provides administrative coverage in the absence of other HR assistants within the program. There is an opportunity for anyone interested in developing their HR professional skills to apply and learn more about this dynamic and innovative team in the Western Zone. This position will require the successful candidate to report to the Fisherman's Memorial Hospital in an office setting.
The HR Assistant ensures that the principles and practices that guide NSHA such as the vision, mission, values, expected behaviours, the ethics, safety, quality, partnerships and interprofessional collaboration are integrated within the work that they do.

$22.79 - $28.48 Hourly
