Job Summary

As the Human Resources Assistant, you will support daily HR operations under the direction of your Supervisor. You will assist with human resources functions, general office tasks and collaborate with the HR team on initiatives aligned with company goals. Recruitment And Onboarding
  • Assist in the recruitment of Field and Administrative employees.
  • Support recruitment and retention efforts to enhance branch capacity.
  • Assist in organizing Orientation Sessions.
Human Resources Management
  • Maintain accurate employee human resources files.
  • Respond to employee HR inquiries.
  • Complete reference checks and employment verifications.
  • Support Workers Compensation claims management.
Compliance And Safety
  • Participate in the Health and Safety Program.
  • Stay informed on provincial employment legislation and support compliance.
  • Identify Health & Safety concerns and notify supervisors.
Professional Development And Quality Assurance
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities.
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional tasks as required.

Education
  • Minimum – Secondary school diploma

Experience

Internal Candidates

Must demonstrate a proven ability to complete administrative tasks, provide excellent customer service, and consistently show above‑average initiative. Successful applicants will be required to complete a three‑month position‑specific probationary period.
