The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Human Resource Services Assistant – Health and Wellness. The successful candidate will work within the Human Resource Services Department to provide administrative and office support to various teams as required; the current assignment is with Health and Wellness Services. This is a position that requires a high level of initiative, professionalism, diplomacy, confidentiality, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member. The successful candidate will be responsible for the facilitation/delivery of the Wellness and Disability Management/Attendance Support Programs, for all board employees. The position will actively monitor, analyze, and report attendance data to stakeholders and provide support to employees on attendance and wellness. This position will also assist in the development, implementation, and on-going support of the board-wide Wellness Program.

This is a full-time permanent position. The regular work year for this position is twelve (12) months of the year. The compensation range for this twelve (12) month position is $64,350 to $80,440 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The normal work week for this position is thirty-five (35) hours.
Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full-time permanent employees,
even if currently in receipt of an OMERS pension.
