Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is a top private-sector nuclear engineering group in Canada, delivering HF engineering for nuclear projects. The role centers on leading Human Factors and Ergonomics work packages, mentoring, and developing program plans in alignment with REGDOC-2.5.1 and CSA N290.12.

You will craft HF verification/validation plans per CNSC REGDOC 2.5.1, perform task analyses, and analyze human-system interfaces, usability, and workload to support high-hazard nuclear programs.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Human Factors (HF) & Ergonomics or Applied Psychology or related field.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.
• Minimum of 15-20 years' experience in the use of Human Factors methods and techniques.
• Experience delivering HF work packages in high hazard industries such as Nuclear.
• Experience in HF delivery planning (HF Integration).

Your role

• Human Factors and Ergonomics work packages, mentoring on technical delivery to project programs.
