Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
HUB International offers a full-time, paid internship from May 3 to August 27 in Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg. You’ll gain hands‑on experience with Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Employee Benefits and Retirement & Private Wealth, learning client service, sales and policy administration.
The role targets college students graduating Spring 2027 to Spring 2028, who communicate well, stay organized, collaborate, and work autonomously.
A path for every ambition. At HUB, we believe the best work happens when people are given real space to grow and then given the autonomy to exercise it. We power progress and protect ambition: for the clients who count on us, and equally for the people who make that possible every day. We’re creative thinkers and determined doers, guided by values that show up in how we work together: with empathy, adaptability, accountability and a genuine commitment to one another’s success. We foster bold ideas, celebrate curiosity and share what we know. Because when people grow, the work they do grows with them. Our purpose is deeply human: to help people navigate the world on their terms, at their speed, toward their future. We hold that same commitment to the people building careers here. Whether you’re starting out or leveling up, you’ll find the resources to evolve, the support to take on more and a team ready to back you at every stage. Your ambition has a home here. Hi – we’re HUB, we’re more than an insurance broker – we’re a network of doers with diverse stories and a shared goal: to support our clients and communities. Great work happens when people come together, which is why we build teams where every voice is valued, ideas are encouraged, and growth is supported.
Our internship will allow you to gain hands‑on experience working alongside our Commercial Lines (Business Insurance), Personal Lines, Employee Benefits, and/or Retirement & Private Wealth team (s), learning the ins and outs of our business while exploring areas like client service, sales, and more. Throughout the program, you’ll learn directly from industry experts across risk, insurance, employee benefits, retirement, and wealth management, building both your professional skills and the foundation for a successful future career. Learn more about these different business practices by visiting the Products page at Insurance Brokers | HUB International.
