Job summary

DXP | HSE Integrated is seeking a casual Confined Space Rescue Technician for our Dartmouth, NS Station. The role involves working as part of a team during rescue situations and critical tasks.

Responsibilities include facilitating rescues, developing site-specific rescue plans, inspecting equipment, performing atmospheric testing, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should be able to travel for project durations and pass drug/alcohol tests.

Qualifications

• Current Confined Space Entry & Rescue training is an asset.
• Current First Aid & CPR training is an asset.
• Driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience running breathing air systems is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Arrive to work clean shaven and fit for duty.
• Physically fit and able to perform job tasks, ability to maintain professionalism in high pressure situations.

The Confined Space Rescue Technician’s main responsibility is to work as a team member during rescue situations and critical tasks.
