Join Our Team as an HSE Coordinator

Are you a safety-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? Inline Group Inc. is seeking a dedicated HSE Coordinator to join our Operations team in Acheson, AB. If you have hands‑on experience supporting Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs in construction or industrial settings and are passionate about maintaining a strong safety culture, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Program Compliance & Certification – Maintain and update Inline’s HSE Manual, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations. Support ongoing COR certification across all active provinces and act as the company’s subject matter expert for SiteDocs and other safety management systems.
  • Field & Project Support – Conduct site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with Inline’s HSE standards. Provide practical guidance to Operations teams on legislative and client safety requirements and adapt programs for remote or fly‑in/fly‑out project sites.
  • Training & Onboarding – Develop and deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions. Support new hire onboarding by ensuring all safety documentation and competency validations are completed. Act as the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) Lead.
  • Incident Investigation & Reporting – Participate in incident investigations, identify root causes, and prepare reports and lessons learned. Support Worker’s Compensation claims and manage return‑to‑work programs.
  • Prequalification & Client Compliance – Maintain compliance across prequalification portals such as Avetta, ISNetworld, and ComplyWorks, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Emergency Preparedness – Support emergency response planning, participate in drills, and act as HSE Officer during emergencies or exercises.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience – Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a construction or industrial HSE role.
  • Education & Designations – Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is an asset. National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation is required.
  • Technical Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with safety management systems and prequalification platforms (Avetta, ISNetworld, ComplyWorks).
  • Soft Skills – Strong public speaking and training abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to changing site conditions.
  • Other Requirements – Current First Aid certification and a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract. Must be able to travel to various project locations across Canada, including remote industrial sites as needed.
