Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources.
• Experience in a unionized environment required.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for new employees.
• Assist in performance management activities and evaluations.
• Manage employee training programs.
• Help resolve labour disputes and grievances.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Generate HR metrics reports for decision-making.

Skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Strong ability to build relationships

Proven ability to resolve HR-related issues

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects

Familiarity with HR software

Attention to detail

Knowledge of labour laws and employee relations practices

Education

Formal education in Human Resources or Business Administration

CHRP or CHRL designation
