Our client, a U.S.-headquartered company, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide consistent and effective HR support to team members and address the needs of the Canadian team. Based in Edmonton, the HR Generalist will ensure compliance with both provincial and federal HR regulations while partnering with global HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment process in collaboration with the Recruiter
  • Provide administrative assistance for performance reviews, policy updates, and HR documentation
  • Assist with benefits administration and liaise with the Compensation and Benefits Manager
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Canadian labour laws and employment regulations
  • Partner with the U.S. HR team to localize global policies and programs for Canadian operationsPerform other HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong understanding of Canadian labour laws and provincial employment standards (BC, AB, SK, MB, QC, and parts of Atlantic Canada)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset to support communication across regions
  • CPHR designation is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
