Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of HR experience, particularly in Ontario and Quebec, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience.
  • Experience in a unionized environment (Ontario and Quebec) is highly valued.
  • PCP designation or equivalent payroll experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment and retention initiatives.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including disciplinary actions.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and provide basic payroll support.
  • Manage employee relations and leave administration.
  • Oversee HR operations in unionized environments across Ontario and Quebec.

Skills

HRIS experience — Dayforce preferred

Senior HR Business Partner

We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Human Resource Candidate to support our clients Orangeville office and contribute to the national HR strategy. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in HR who thrives in a unionized manufacturing environment and values employee experience, engagement, and development. While this role does not have direct reports, it plays a vital part in supporting the team and ensuring alignment with national HR practices.

Your success will be defined by your ability to :
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment and retention initiatives, supporting employee development, engagement, and long-term career planning
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and regular performance reviews
  • Administer employee benefits programs and provide basic payroll support in coordination with internal teams
  • Manage employee relations and leave administration, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies
  • Oversee HR operations in unionized environments across Ontario and Quebec, working with multiple unions to ensure compliance with collective agreements and provincial labor standards
Your strengths include :
  • 5+ years of HR experience with a related degree
  • Experience in a unionized environment (Ontario and Quebec) highly valued
  • HRIS experience — Dayforce preferred; SharePoint experience is a strong asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel and build relationships across multiple locations
  • PCP designation or equivalent payroll experience an asset
