Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Process monthly reporting (ACP file, People Dashboards, Org Chart Updates)
  • Support the analytics on workforce planning
  • Process quarterly HR Ops Reporting (WCB Risk reporting, Stats Canada, etc).
  • Support of Annual HR Ops Reporting (Annual People metrics, Vacation Balance reporting, year-end reporting, etc).
  • Process ad hoc reporting requests as needed
  • Provide ADP systems administration, maintenance and support to ensure the system setup meets organizational requirements.
  • Serve as a contact for HRIS ADP to support employees, managers, HR planning and other operational needs.
  • Work closely with ADP and other organizational subject matter experts to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes and report writing.
  • Research and resolve system problems, documenting processes and results.
  • Liaise with third parties and other stakeholders as required.
  • Develop and provide ADP User information sessions to employees and managers as required.
  • Support the HR Assistant with the processing of employee data in ADP.
  • Audit new hire, leaves, return to work and terminations, with an understanding of the various employment status types, rules of CBA where applicable, etc.
  • Audit employee status change updates such as position changes, name changes, rate changes and dependent changes.
  • Take a leadership role in the maintenance of both digital and hard copy employee files to ensure they remain up to date and accurate.
  • Ensure applicable paperwork is complete and accurate for payroll processing and all necessary information is communicated to the Payroll Specialist.
  • Manage 3 Year Renewable contracts to ensure contracts are drafted, signed and returned prior to expiring.
  • Provide guidance and support for the development of HR processes and how-to documentation, HR forms and workflows, communications and ADP forms library management.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Employee and People Leader HR Self Service platforms (ADP, Office365, Connect, etc).
  • Support HR Central / EE Connect content management.
  • Provide employee onboarding support;
  • with the processing of new hire paperwork, etc
  • providing employee onboarding sessions
  • Support management of the HR / Payroll inbox.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers with any HR related questions and issues.
  • Represent Human Resources on various committees and teams as required.
  • Back up support to HR team members as required.
  • Support the annual policy sign off process.
