Are you a strong communicator, natural problem solver, and passionate about creating safe, positive living experiences? Campus Living Centres is looking for a Housing & Leasing Coordinator (HLC) to oversee the daily operations of our off-campus property.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building relationships, and brings a strong organizational mindset to everything they do. The HLC plays a key leadership role on site—managing tenant relations, leasing, administration, building upkeep, and more.
Build strong, professional relationships with tenants and ensure their well-being, safety, and concerns are addressed promptly.
Conduct property tours and support prospective tenants through the leasing process.
Ensure all required tenant documentation is collected and maintained.
Maintain organized office systems, logs, and documentation (complaints, communication records, notices, etc.).
Draft and distribute tenant and building notices.
Support implementation of corporate policy changes.
Manage operational revenues and expenses.
Ensure proper collection procedures for accounts receivable.
Complete required reporting accurately and on schedule.
Lead marketing and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy.
Maintain the property’s marketing vision and develop targeted outreach initiatives.
Create and oversee internal sales promotions.
Supervise staff, promote strong communication, and support a positive team environment.
Ensure all workplace legislative requirements are followed, including Health & Safety practices.
Regularly inspect the property and coordinate repairs, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
Approve maintenance work and monitor vendor performance.
Assist with building cleanliness (including occasional vacuuming/painting as required).
Complete monthly fire, generator, and safety checks.
Ensure landscaping, snow removal, and overall aesthetics meet company standards.
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
College diploma or university degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in housing, leasing, property management, administration, or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and problem-solve effectively.
Confident leadership skills with the ability to guide and support staff.
Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) and leasing best practices is an asset.
Comfort working in high-interruption, fast-paced environments.
